An incredible book featuring patterns created by the now 86-year-old graphic designer between 1969 and the present—much of his work is made by hand with real ink and hand-pressed plates, predating digital screens and printing, but also a prognostication the representation of larger images on screens/pages via intricate arrangements of smaller elements, shapes or ‘pixels’ of color.
